We are half-way through summer vacation. Maybe you feel happy. Maybe you feel tired. Maybe you feel sad.
I am happy because it is not very hot today.
I am tired because I have worked a lot in my garden.
I am sad because I want more vacation to play with my children.
How do you feel?
Here are some emotions words. Here is another list.
Your sentence starts with a subject (I, you, he/she/it, we, they, or the name of a person)...
...then the "be"verb is conjugated or you can use "feel" ("feels" for he/she/it)
...then the emotion word.
EXAMPLES:
He is sad. He feels sad.
They are excited. They feel excited.
We are tired. We feel tired.
A person might ask "Why?" Then you answer "...because...with a sentence about the reason.
He is sad because he lost his dog. He feels sad because he lost his dog.
They are excited because they are going to Disney World. They feel excited because they are going to Disney World.
We are tired because we did not sleep last night. We feel tired because we did not sleep last night.
