· Describe self in detail (e.g. married with children, height, weight, gender, etc.)
· Speak to a doctor and describe basic symptoms and health problems.
Groundhog's Day: We read and learned about Groundhog's Day. Look at this video to see the official report from the Phil the Groundhog. There is another groundhog that they asked in Wisconsin. See what he thinks. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/groundhog-day-2015-conflicting-forecasts-and-a-bitten-mayor/
Learning Styles: We talked about ourselves with the new students then completed our learning style assessments. It is important to know how we learn best. You can ask your children the same information. Practice your English and discover how they learn best.
Health: We broke into groups. One group worked with me in All Stars to practice body parts and symptoms. The other groups were each given a picture of a person. They had to describe the person's problems and offer treatment as if they were the doctors. We will present this tomorrow then continue with emergency room dialogues.
You can practice here and a lot more here.
