- Use vocabulary to describe household chores (ex. do dishes, clean windows)

- Be able to discuss daily activities and routines
When we entered, students finished their 2 job interviews then chose the job they wanted.
With the chosen job, each student created her monthly budget.
A yearly salary divided by 12=monthly budget OR An hourly wage x 40 hours = a weekly pay. That number x 4 weeks = monthly budget
On Monday we will use our monthly budget to talk about paying our bills.
Managing the new schedule: How will you use your day now?
Ventures p. 76: We read the story about Bob and discussed his schedule. We used the question words to ask questions about him.
We learned about daily activities and chores.
To talk about the activity, we use -ing Example: Reading the newspaper is relaxing.
To give a command, we do not use a subject. We use the verb without -s Example: Take out the garbage.
Then we wrote sentences about what we do with our schedule. (always…sometimes…never)
Example: I sometimes make the bed. I never set the table.
We read sentences about chores:
After the chores in All Stars: p. 102 Chores
We talked about leisure activities p. 104 Leisure
We described the picture with what activities we saw then talked with a partner about what activities we did.
If you did not finish the sentences in class:
Write a sentence for what each family member does for a chore. (Remember: household job)
Then write a sentence for what each family member does for leisure. (Remember: fun and relaxing/recreation)
