We reviewed Valentine's Day and emotions with a) a list of Valentine's Day related words that we brainstormed, b) a Valentine's Day vocabulary worksheet that we worked on in pairs and discussed and a Valentine's Day crossword puzzle that we used to assess how much we learned.
Last week we started a project. Each pair of students named a different location in the community (ex. school) then made a list of who works there. Today we listed skills that those workers needed. We also talked about job skills compared to life skills using the Ventures 1 book.
